The strangers held their laughter back


Hilarious selfie before a Pie ride the other day. 


Early morning gorgeous snow that melted by 10 am. The very best kind.


We've had our sweet Zoe girl visiting all weekend.


Sigh. Winter isn't so bad when you can see this.

    Love the first and last pictures!
    I can't believe that's all the snow you had, and then it was gone. We got another 4 inches today--along with howling winds. Bbrrrr.

    Nothing is as bad when there is a horse involved! I wonder if Emily Dickinson ever had access to horses. Then her poems might be a little cheerier, don't you think?

    That's a good way to look at winter. It can be very beautiful, especially from the saddle, with the right riding gear.

    That surely IS THE BEST KIND of snowy day,I agree. While I imagine Zoe would beg to differ !
    That chocolaty Carmel pie face ~yummy! I'd love to look at that one every day.
